PC Encoder Disc
PC (polycarbonate) substrate encoder discs, lightweight and low-cost, for low- to medium-resolution and high-volume optical encoders.
PC encoder discs use polycarbonate (PC) engineering plastic as the substrate, with transparent and opaque graduation patterns formed on the disc surface; they are transmissive discs. Compared with glass and metal substrates, PC is lightweight, tough and shatter-resistant, and costs less, making it well suited to high-volume optical encoder applications where weight and cost matter.

Features
- Polycarbonate (PC) substrate: lightweight, tough and shatter-resistant
- Lower cost, suited to high-volume production
- Transmissive graduations with uniform pitch and clear contrast
- Customizable outer diameter, bore and line count
